The appointment book at Hair at Fred Segal, in Santa Monica, looks like the Y2K bug has already hit:, names like Courtney Cox and Courtney Love peppered all over the ever-burgeoning list of desperate clients who simply must have their hair colored, or cut, or even just seriously conditioned—before the new millennium. “We’ve extended our business hours, and it’s still crazy,” says executive officer Michael Baruch.
