Blood Pressure Machine-for Your Wrist

February 1, 2008 by admin

Take your blood pressure easily, quickly (less than 1 minute), and accurately. No messy hard-to-put-on arm cuffs!

I discovered this when my grandma was in a nursing home. She had a large arm and it hurt her when she had her blood pressure taken every day. I searched for alternative blood pressure machines and found WRIST BLOOD PRESSURE MACHINES. They are now being tested and validated for accuracy and reflect the leading trend to use at home or in a long term care facility.

One of the challenges of taking a blood pressure is to have the correct cuff size. Having a properly fitting cuff is the most important factor to consider when purchasing a home blood pressure monitor. Many monitors are available with different-sized cuffs to fit different arm sizes. Poorly fitting cuffs will not give accurate blood pressure measurements. They may even make your blood pressure seem high when it is not!

Bartending Might Be More Difficult Than One Might Think

February 1, 2008 by admin

If you have never experienced a job such as bartending, then you really might be confused in thinking that it is an easy, fun, exciting, stress free job. I have often heard that bartending would just be the coolest, all you really have to do is fix a variety of drinks, have a little chit chat here and there and make money for being nice. You need to understand before you decide to get yourself a bartending job that it is much different than you might have first thought. Sure, it can be fun and exciting and slow nights might not be so difficult but, if you have yourself a good bartending job at a busy, popular club or bar, you need to be prepared to work your tail off, seriously!

Bartending can be very challenging at times, after all, you are dealing with crowds of strangers that are drinking alcohol! It is so important that you really understand all of this before you choose to get a job as a bartender, so that you do not end up stressed out, exhausted and possibly even unhappy with your job. Be realistic, know the role before you decide to take part in it. If you are the type of person that can handle being on your feet all night, dealing with sometimes very rude, even drunk, people and running in circles for hours making drink after drink, while still carrying on a conversation with all of the customers so that you are not rude to them, then it is the job for you.

Wine Food Pairing – My Famous Potato Salad, Grilled Brats And?

February 1, 2008 by admin

Wine Food Pairing ….I absolutely love it. It allows my imagination to run wild with possibilities!
I am famous for my all American potato salad….at least with my friends and neighbors, and of course that’s all that matters. I have even lined up friends at my kitchen counter and given lessons….some of them actually wrote down what I said…even though I really don’t have exact measurements or anything….mostly, I do it by taste…..trial and error.

To start off, I begin by opening a family sized (1.5 liter) bottle of Cavit Pinot Grigio from Italy. I take down my favorite Tervis tumblers with the saying “It’s 5 o’clock Somewhere” embroidered on the front. To these I add ice……fill tumbler half with the delightful Pinot and then top off with sparkling mineral water……..NOW, with spritzer in hand I can begin the prep for the potato salad.

An Amazing Cancer Remedy Discovery In Turkey – Part 1 Of The Oleander Series

January 1, 2008 by admin

My search for a possible cancer cure began in late 2004 when I found out that my cousin, lifelong friend and running buddy, Jeff Johnson, had been diagnosed as having stage-three melanoma. The cancer had appeared out of nowhere and so it was quite a shock to my cousin and everyone close to him. As luck would have it, I had spent a lot of time the previous four years or so working on my dream of someday posting a website aimed at helping aging baby boomers and others live longer, healthier and happier lives. Naturally, a lot of my research involved searching for ways to ward off and treat diseases and ills such as cancer, Alzheimer’s, heart disease, high blood pressure, kidney and liver disease, and so forth.

When I found out about my cousin, I already had a head start on knowing where and how to look, and so I began to redouble my efforts and focus my research more on cancer. As a result of my research, I found a lot of very good information about fighting cancer and other diseases, boosting our immune systems and improving health in general – much of which you may find in my simple “How to Live a Long and Healthy Life” book. However, it was not my research that led me to finding out about the magical, miraculous oleander plant – it was a card game!
