Greetings, Buzzers. As many of you know, I absolutely adore perfumes. One of my pet peeves, however, is smelling my perfume on someone else. Now, I wish I could afford one of the handmade Creed perfumes, but since I’m a poor college student I have to stick to mixing my own custom smells.

I’ll admit that I have a good “nose” for perfume, but I promise that anyone can learn to combine her own smells. The easiest way to combine perfume with sure results is to add more of a note that is already in a perfume. If you can’t tell the notes by smell, look at the product descriptions of you perfume (many on-line sites list the notes in perfumes). If you still can’t determine the notes, you probably can’t ever go wrong with vanilla or musk. In addition, cinnamon adds spice, citrus is fresh smelling and fruits take the edge off a heavy scent.
